* Conditions apply. Snorkeling, Swimming and Riding require you to sign a waiver and it is for able bodied guests only. Bring your own snorkelling gear as our hire stocks are limited. Price: $10 for transport.  Snorkeling, Swimming and Kayak use is FOC.

 

Wagawaga Tour (Muscoota Shipwreck)

Just A 30-minute dinghy ride across the bay from the beautiful Driftwood Resort, is Wagawaga - a village situated in the bay area of the Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.

There is a natural harbor featuring the wreck of the Muscoota which juts out just above the waterline. 

HISTORY

The Muscoota was originally named the Buckingham, an iron hulled clipper launched by Queen Victoria. After being used as a coal barge during WW2, HMS Muscoota began to leak and was scuttled in the discovery bay of Wagawaga.

The tour requires a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 20 people and includes boat transport, fuel, snorkel hire, guides, picnic and drinks.
